What are the Eligibility Requirements in order to use the RxYouSave Card?

There are no eligibility requirements in order to use this card. Anyone can use this card, regardless of income, age, medical condition or anything else.

What does it cost in order to use the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card?

One of the best things about the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card is that it doesn't cost ANYTHING! Unlike other prescription savings programs out there, you don't have to pay money in order to save money. We find the very idea of paying money in order to save money appalling. Prescriptions are expensive enough as it is--why add to it by paying a membership fee for a program that is only going to cover a limited number of prescriptions anyways?

How exactly does the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card work?

RxYouSave is a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). What this means is that we have a working relationship with several pharmaceutical companies and because of that, we negotiate lower prices on behalf of the people who decide to use our card. This in turn results in massive savings for you, the consumer.

I just downloaded and printed my card. Now what do I do?

All you have to do is simply take it to the pharmacy with you when you go to pick up your prescription medications. The pharmacy staff member enters the PCN, GRP & BIN into their system. Then you receive the discounted rate courtesy of the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card.

What if the pharmacist does not know how to process the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card?

All the pharmacy staff member has to do is enter the PCN, GRP & BIN into their computer system. If one pharmacy staff member doesn't know how to do it, ask for a different pharmacy staff member that does know how to do it.

Is the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card the same as an Insurance Plan?

No. This is a prescription discount card. You do not pay any monthly premiums in order to use this card and there are no limitations whatsoever, unlike with Insurance Plans.

I get Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Part D, or another state or federal program, can I still use the drug discount card?

You can't use it WITH your Insurance/Medicare/Medicaid. HOWEVER, You CAN use the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card INSTEAD or UNTIL you meet your deductable. You can use the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card the following are ways if:

Your insurance has no drug coverage
You have to meet a high deductible
You have extremely high copay and the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card is cheaper
You have a low medicine cap that has been met
You are in the Medicare Part D "doughnut hole"

When I went to get my prescriptions filled, the pharmacist said that their prescription discount card/prescription savings program was better.

This is not always the case. It is very rare that a retail value or national chain pharmacy discount card or program saves more money than the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card. What you need to do in this event is insist that they enter in the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card anyway so you can compare prices. I am not a US Citizen. Can I still use the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card?

Yes. As long as you are residing in the US, you can use this card as many times as you like.

What medications are listed that will be discounted and how can I search to get an idea of the price I will pay?

We have a special drug price lookup tool so that you can look up the drug name, dosage, and you can enter the amount you get every 30 to 90 days. You then will submit it and get an estimate of what you can expect to pay. Keep in mind this is an estimate and can vary by a few dollars depending on geographic location.

Can I use the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card with pet medications?

Yes you can. Simply ask the Veterinarian to write a prescription for your pets medications, and take it to the pharmacy to receive your discount.

Can I share the Card with my friends and family?

Please, by all means, share it with everyone that you know! Word of mouth is the best way we can grow and help as many people as possible to save money on their prescriptions!

Does the card come in any other forms?

Yes. You have three options when it comes to the RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card. The first option is to print a card from the website. The second option is to download our RxYouSave Prescription Discount Card Web App. The third option is to request a card in the mail. We currently have a Web App now. In the future we will have an app for Iphone, Android & Blackberry.

Can I join your mailing list?

Absolutely! Just sign up with your email address and you will be added to our mailing list. Don't worry--we will not sell your information to anyone for anything. We will only use your information to keep you updated on the changes and updates (as well as new articles) that we add to the site.
